While the twelve year old Glenfiddich is a relatively non-descript malt, older bottlings are now gaining high praise including one award as the world’s best single malt Scotch whisky. A panel of seventy five independent whisky experts in three countries voted Glenfiddich 40 Year Old Rare Collection the world’s best single malt Scotch whisky in a competition held by the trade bible, ‘Whisky Magazine’ in 2003. The thirty year old is similarly luxurious, rare and complex and makes a wonderful after dinner malt.
